I recognise myself in what you are writing. Wish I didn't! But it's true and it's good to see it written down here in black and white. Especially to link it to smoking. Thanks so much for the prompt to take more conscious action around my phone.

It's such a difficult habit to break, Jane. I think we all can see ourselves in this one. I often think I wonder what they'll think of us in a 100 years time .. just like smoking 🤔

I never take my phone to bed. It stays downstairs. I followed a friend’s advice - no phone or iPad games after 9pm and that is my rule now. It’s tricky because if being online is your job, being off line is not as easy.

I think the problem is that it's more than just a device now. It's been completely woven into every aspect of our lives so that we simply cannot live without it! I should eave my downstairs. I do put it out of reach which works for me as I am lazy!! 💤
